Roll-off dumpster rental in Cedar Hill

About 8.5 miles south-south-west of the yard, roughly 14 minutes — US-67 south to Belt Line Road and Uptown Boulevard.

Cedar Hill is a straight run down US-67 from the yard — about 14 minutes to the Government Center on Uptown Boulevard — so it is reliably same-day when you call before noon. The city sits on the Austin chalk uplift at about 800 feet, the highest ground between the Red River and the Gulf, which is why the lots roll and the cedars are everywhere.

About 71% of homes are owner-occupied (Census), and the big growth decades were the 1970s and 80s, so the work is established-house remodels, roofs, decks and fences, plus the large-lot properties of Lake Ridge near Joe Pool Lake.

Local knowledge

Getting our bearings in Cedar Hill

Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.

  • Cedar Hill State Park and Joe Pool Lake on the west side; the Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center.
  • Uptown, Midtown and Historic Downtown — the City Center sub-districts, with Hillside Village at Uptown.
  • Lake Ridge — the large-lot planned development below the uplift on the west side.
  • The broadcast-tower area — 14 towers on the high ground.
  • US-67, FM 1382, Belt Line Road and Pleasant Run Road are the corridors.

How we reach Cedar Hill

US-67 south from the yard, then Belt Line Road west for Uptown and Downtown, FM 1382 north-west for Lake Ridge and the state park. Same-day when you call before noon.

What comes out of Cedar Hill properties

Roofs after hail, kitchens and baths in 1970s and 80s houses, deck and fence replacement, and the occasional large-lot teardown in Lake Ridge. WM collects bulk and brush once a month at the curb, capped at 10 cubic yards and excluding construction debris; the code says rock, scrap building materials and remodeling trash will not be removed by the City and the owner must have them removed. Residents also get one free quarterly trip to the WM landfill in Ferris.

Permits, placement and who may haul in Cedar Hill

Right-of-way: Code Sec. 19-101(a) says no person shall place any obstruction within or across any right-of-way, and the City may remove one at the owner's cost. There is no permit route — keep the container on your own property. Sec. 11-128 also bars storing a commercial dumpster on residential premises except while it is being loaded or unloaded, which is exactly what a temporary roll-off is for.

Who may haul: Code Sec. 9-58 makes it unlawful to collect garbage or refuse within the city without a contractual or franchise agreement from the City together with a street usage or franchise percentage fee, and the City's WM contract (Sec. 9-57) already prices 20, 30 and 40 yard open-top roll-offs. Utility Billing is on 469-272-2931. Tell us the job and we will tell you where it stands.

How it works

Booking a dumpster in Cedar Hill

Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.

  1. 1

Call and tell us the job

One short conversation. We ask what you are clearing, where the container needs to sit, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us. No forms, no waiting on an email.

  2. 2

We size it and quote it flat

You get one number covering delivery, the 7-day rental, pickup, disposal and a stated tonnage allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so.

  3. 3

    Delivered where you want it

The driver walks the spot with you and sets the container square on the driveway, lot or job site, boards under the rails. Same-day in Dallas if you called before noon.

  4. 4

    Load at your own pace

Keep it level with the top rail and keep the banned items out. Need a swap mid-job or an early pickup? One call and we are on it.

  5. 5

We haul it and sort it right

Concrete, metal and green waste get routed for recovery where North Texas facilities allow; the rest goes to a permitted landfill. You get your driveway back the way you left it.

Local answers

Dumpster rental in Cedar Hill — common questions

Is Cedar Hill same-day?

Usually, yes — it is about 14 minutes down US-67. Call before noon.

Can a dumpster sit in the street in Cedar Hill?

No. The City's code bars any obstruction in the right-of-way and gives no permit route. The driveway is the only answer.

Does Cedar Hill restrict who can supply a roll-off?

The City requires a hauler to hold a City contract or franchise and pay a fee, and its own contractor already prices roll-offs. Tell us the job and we will say honestly what we can do.

Service area

Every DFW city we cover

We run roll-off containers out of our south-west Dallas yard to every city below. Dallas and the southern suburbs are usually same-day; the north and east of the metroplex are next-day. Several cities reserve roll-offs to their own contracted hauler — each page says so plainly. If your town is not listed, call anyway.
