Roll-off dumpster rental in Grand Prairie

About 11 miles west-north-west of the yard, roughly 20 minutes — Loop 12 north to Davis Street and Main Street.

Grand Prairie is Loop 12 north from the yard and west on Main Street — about 20 minutes to City Hall — and usually same-day when you call before noon. The city stretches from the I-30 entertainment corridor of Lone Star Park, Epic Waters and Traders Village in the north to the Goodland master-planned community and Joe Pool Lake in the south.

About 59% of homes are owner-occupied (Census), with new growth to the south and big employers like Lockheed Martin and Airbus Helicopters in between. The work is remodels and roofs on established streets, new-build and warehouse debris, and commercial turnovers along I-30 and SH 161.

Getting our bearings in Grand Prairie

Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.

  • Lone Star Park, Epic Waters and Traders Village along the I-30 and SH 360 corridors.
  • Goodland — the roughly 900-acre master-planned community on the southern boundary.

What comes out of Grand Prairie properties

Roof tear-offs, kitchens and baths, garage cleanouts and fences on the established streets; framing and finish waste on the new builds in the south; warehouse and retail turnovers along the interstates. The City's code says rock, concrete and scraps of building material from building or remodeling will not be removed by the City or its contractor, and that any person may contract with the City's franchise hauler for them.

Permits, placement and who may haul in Grand Prairie

Right-of-way: no dumpster permit found. The code's excavation permit (Sec. 23-27) and right-of-way facilities rules do not mention containers; Sec. 26-116 says commercial containers sit "at a location on the premises arranged by the customer and collector." Keep it on the property.

Who may haul: Code Sec. 26-101(a) says no person except the City's authorized agents shall convey or transport garbage or trash on the streets without a contract or franchise granted by the city council, with a fee of 5% of gross receipts, and all municipal solid waste generated in the city goes to the City's landfill. The City's contractor is Republic Services; Solid Waste is on 972-237-8151. No construction-debris exemption was found. Tell us the job and we will tell you where it stands.

How it works

Booking a dumpster in Grand Prairie

Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.

  1. 1

Call and tell us the job

One short conversation. We ask what you are clearing, where the container needs to sit, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us. No forms, no waiting on an email.

  2. 2

We size it and quote it flat

You get one number covering delivery, the 7-day rental, pickup, disposal and a stated tonnage allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so.

  3. 3

    Delivered where you want it

The driver walks the spot with you and sets the container square on the driveway, lot or job site, boards under the rails. Same-day in Dallas if you called before noon.

  4. 4

    Load at your own pace

Keep it level with the top rail and keep the banned items out. Need a swap mid-job or an early pickup? One call and we are on it.

  5. 5

We haul it and sort it right

Concrete, metal and green waste get routed for recovery where North Texas facilities allow; the rest goes to a permitted landfill. You get your driveway back the way you left it.

We found no permit for it, and the code places commercial containers on the premises. The driveway or lot is the answer.
