Roll-off dumpster rental in Richardson

About 25 miles north-north-east of the yard, roughly 34 minutes — US-75 north to Arapaho Road.

Richardson is US-75 north from the yard, about 34 minutes to City Hall on Arapaho Road, and usually next morning. The city sits two-thirds in Dallas County and one-third in Collin, from the Red Brick Road of the old downtown to Galatyn Park, CityLine and UT Dallas in the north.

It has the highest median home value and income of the Dallas County cities we serve (Census), with owner-occupancy around 51% — so the work is kitchens, baths and roofs in established neighborhoods, apartment turnovers, and commercial fit-outs along the Central Expressway.

Local knowledge

What comes out of Richardson properties

Kitchens, baths and roofs in established neighborhoods, apartment and condo turnovers, and office and retail fit-outs along US-75. The City is the exclusive provider of residential and bulky collection, and its code says heavy accumulations of brick, concrete, lumber and construction materials must be removed at the owner's expense and may not be placed in any alley or right-of-way.

Weight is what usually decides the size, not how much room the pile takes up.

Permits, placement and who may haul in Richardson

Right-of-way: no container permit found. Code Sec. 19-32 says heavy and construction materials shall not be stored or placed in any alley or other public right-of-way, and Sec. 19-26 keeps waste off streets and sidewalks. Keep the container on the property.

Who may haul: Richardson splits it. Code Sec. 19-6 requires a City permit to collect, transport and dispose of construction and demolition debris in the city — application to Public Services, insurance certificate, an annual fee of 5% of gross receipts, issued within 15 days (972-744-4111; the City publishes the list of permitted haulers). But Sec. 19-4(d) and 19-30(a) make the City the sole provider of other roll-off and bulky service, "exclusive of construction containers containing brick, concrete, shingles/roofing material, dirt, gravel, tile." So construction and renovation debris is the permitted lane in Richardson, and household clean-outs are reserved to the City. Tell us the job and we will tell you which side of the line it is on.

Summarized from the city's published code and web pages as read in October 2026. Codes change — confirm with the department listed before you rely on it.

How it works

Booking a dumpster in Richardson

Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.

  1. 1

Call and tell us the job

One short conversation. We ask what you are clearing, where the container needs to sit, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us. No forms, no waiting on an email.

  2. 2

We size it and quote it flat

You get one number covering delivery, the 7-day rental, pickup, disposal and a stated tonnage allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so.

  3. 3

    Delivered where you want it

The driver walks the spot with you and sets the container square on the driveway, lot or job site, boards under the rails. Same-day in Dallas if you called before noon.

  4. 4

    Load at your own pace

Keep it level with the top rail and keep the banned items out. Need a swap mid-job or an early pickup? One call and we are on it.

  5. 5

We haul it and sort it right

Concrete, metal and green waste get routed for recovery where North Texas facilities allow; the rest goes to a permitted landfill. You get your driveway back the way you left it.

Local answers

Dumpster rental in Richardson — common questions

Is Richardson same-day or next-day?

Usually next morning — about 34 minutes up US-75. Ask.

Can a dumpster sit in the street in Richardson?

No. The code keeps construction materials out of alleys and rights-of-way, and we found no container permit. The driveway or lot is the answer.

Does Richardson restrict who can supply a roll-off?

The City issues a permit for construction and demolition haulers and reserves other roll-off and bulky service to itself. Tell us whether the load is renovation debris or household junk and we will say honestly what we can do.

Every DFW city we cover

We run roll-off containers out of our south-west Dallas yard to every city below. Dallas and the southern suburbs are usually same-day; the north and east of the metroplex are next-day. Several cities reserve roll-offs to their own contracted hauler — each page says so plainly. If your town is not listed, call anyway.
