Construction Dumpster Rental in Dallas, TX — Metro Bin Dallas

Construction Dumpster Rental across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex

A job site does not produce one kind of waste. Demolition comes out heavy — concrete, brick, slab pieces, tile — then framing and drywall come out light and bulky, then the finish phase is packaging and offcuts. We size each phase separately: a 10 yard loaded level for the heavy material, a 30 or 40 for the bulk, and a swap schedule so the crew never waits on a full box.

Dallas-area construction runs from the teardown-and-rebuild streets of Preston Hollow and Lakewood to the apartment and warehouse construction that has led the nation for years. We work with general contractors, roofers, remodelers and demolition crews across the metroplex.

At a glance

What you get with construction dumpster rental

  • Containers sized by job phase — heavy demo, framing, finish
  • Swap scheduling so the site never waits on a full box
  • 10 yard containers for concrete and inert material loaded level
  • 30 and 40 yard containers for bulky framing and demolition debris
  • Delivery coordinated with site supervisors and access hours
  • Flat pricing with the tonnage allowance stated up front

Demolition, framing, roofing and finish

Demolition debris is where the weight is. Concrete, brick, block and tile go in 10 yards loaded level, because a 30 heaped with rubble is more than the truck can lift and more than any allowance covers. Framing and drywall go in 30s and 40s. Roofing — the biggest single category after a hail year — is a 20 for a normal tear-off and a 30 for double layers.

Texas requires an asbestos survey and a notice to the Department of State Health Services at least 10 working days before demolition of a public or commercial building, and asbestos-containing material never goes in a roll-off. We will ask what the building is before we quote a demolition job.

Job-site placement and the City of Dallas

On a private lot we place where the driver can reach it and the crew can load it. For a container in a Dallas street or alley the City's Public Works Right-of-Way Management office (214-948-4290) issues right-of-way and traffic control permits through its online permit system, and a lane closure needs a traffic control plan. The City also licenses the haulers themselves: a solid waste collection franchise under Chapter 18 of the City Code, with the Sanitation Franchise Unit (214-670-3111) keeping the list. We will tell you which rules your site needs.

Construction dumpster rental — the DFW specifics

Several DFW cities require a hauler to hold a city franchise or permit for construction debris, and some reserve construction containers to their contracted hauler outright: Richardson issues its own C&D hauler permit and otherwise reserves roll-off service to the city; Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Lewisville, Mesquite, Arlington, Rowlett and DeSoto reserve roll-offs to their contractor. Irving expressly excludes construction and demolition haulers from its franchise rule. Every city page quotes the section.

Answers

Construction Dumpster Rental — your questions answered

Do you do swap-outs?

Yes. We pull the full container and drop an empty in the same trip. Most multi-week jobs book the first swap at the start.

Can I mix concrete with other debris?

You can, but it is expensive. Concrete fills the weight allowance long before the box looks full, so we run a 10 for inert material alongside a 30 for the rest.

Can you deliver to a site with no address yet?

Yes — give us the nearest cross street and a gate contact, and the driver will call ahead.

Do I need a permit for a container on a Dallas job site?

Not on the lot itself, as far as the City's published code says. In the street or alley it is a right-of-way matter for Public Works (214-948-4290). We flag it when you book.

Which cities restrict construction haulers?

Most of the northern and eastern suburbs reserve construction containers to their contracted hauler. Each city page says what that city's code says, and we tell you straight when you call.

We run roll-off containers out of our south-west Dallas yard to every city below. Dallas and the southern suburbs are usually same-day; the north and east of the metroplex are next-day. Several cities reserve roll-offs to their own contracted hauler — each page says so plainly. If your town is not listed, call anyway.
